The new feature Export to PDF appears to be just a screen capture of each report - whatever is currently being shown on the screen is what is captured in the pdf. When a report has a Table or Matrix visualization on it with rows that scroll beyond what is shown, these are not captured in the pdf. Need to have all the data show up in the pdf.

Paginated Reports support multi-page exports, to learn more: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-paginated-report

I agree. This is very much required.

Declined??? This is absolutely ridiculous. My shop has been using Oracle's OBIEE for many years and i am migrating them to PBI. How can Oracle export a report to a PDF and show all the data, and for that matter, their export to Excel has better functionality than PBI. I am a big fan of PBI, and there is some far out functionality available, but there are far too many basic "blocking and tackling" functions missing.Oh, and by the way, paginated reports are FAR from a viable solution.

Yes this needs to be fixed! What good is it to be able to export to PDF or powerpoint if the report is truncated? And paginated reports is all well and good, but I'm trying to generate a PDF of a report that someone else built. It shouldn't be this difficult.

kinda insane this has not been resolved yet. This was a function we have with Tableau.

I created a powrrbi report for my users,:they comeback to me and asked: how can we scroll to the next page? My answer was you can't: it is only a snapshot of visible pages.Their feedback was quite telling: you can aseell not sent it,,,what is the point of having a truncated report? It's a shame !

We, for one, need the ability to extract a Power BI report to a PDF, and have it include all rows. One of the purposes of a "report" is to capture a point in time snapshot.

Just had a user request for this, and I'm disappointed to see it's been declined.Ideally, my users would be able to do all the work needed for an export in one press of a button. Even if these pages can be re-created as Paginated Reports (extra development time which I can't get to instantly), this provides a worse user experience. Instead of getting one single document to forward on, this will mean an export process of going to multiple reports, saving down multiple exports, and having to collect them together. I've heard the term "clicks to success" used by the Power BI team before. In the current state, my users are not succeeding. If they could export full tables, they would be. If I built out paginated reports for the tables that scroll, my users would "succeed" at the cost of many more clicks and many more minutes to complete their exports, and with a greater chance of error along the way. Please reconsider this feature.

This feature would be very helpful. It's poor form from Microsoft to decline this with justification as "use paginated reports".It's a different product and is not practical to have to rebuild reports that exist in Power BI as paginated reports.Other competitors reporting tools have this functionality. Quite disappointing that Power BI doesn't. Please reconsider the need for this in Power BI as opposed to paginated reports.

You can export formatted reports including all the rows as PDF using Inforiver. Check out the other exciting features here.
