Make it possible to embed Power BI dashboards/reports/items on Office365/SharePoint online pages, for example as a web part.

Today I’m very excited to announce the availability of the Power BI report web part for SharePoint Online! We’ve heard from you all that SharePoint Online is a critical part of how you disseminate and communicate data and that to-date it wasn’t easy to include Power BI content there. The feature we’re announcing today changes all that. We’ve been busy at work with the SharePoint team building an out-of-the-box web part for SharePoint Online using their new Modern Pages infrastructure. The new web part we are releasing today enables SharePoint authors to embed Power BI reports directly in SharePoint Online pages with no code required! The feature is available today for Office 365 First Release customers. Read all about the new web part on the Power BI Blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/integrate-power-bi-reports-in-sharepoint-online/ We really appreciate your ideas so do let us know what else you'd like us to add to the web part. -Lukasz

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

Requiring a Pro license for viewers makes this more or less useless for large organizations.

Still need the ability to specify filters in Power BI web part instead of repeating reports to embed with pre-defined filters ! Waiting for it !

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

Need to be able to Embed only a component from report in SharePoint.

This is far from complete.

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

Please also consider releasing the opportunity to embed Power BI Dashboards to Teams, not just Reports.

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

Get rid of the need to have a Pro License for all users to access a report embedded to a SharePoint site. It kind of defeats the purpose of me embedding it to a SharePoint site.

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

are you suggesting that if you embed reports in a SharePoint web parts, the viewer will not need a PowerBI Pro License?

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

To be clear... you can only embedded Reports. You can't embed Dashboards. This functionality you should put on the roadmap.

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

I tried this in Modern Pages and it solves none of my problems. I can't control size...it is small or smaller. I can't focus on a dashboard, I can't put anything else on the page. On one tile my drill down ability disappeared (still there on powerbi.com). I really can't do anything with this webpart. First time on Modern Pages makes want to stay on the Archaic Pages.

My gawd MSFT, this is awful.

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

You have failed the community (Arrow, anyone?)!

We still can't publish dasboards on SharePoint and even the report publishing is rather clumsy and looks ugly (forced focus mode anyone?). Don't get me even started on the licensing model. Common Microsoft, fix it!

RE: Embed in SharePoint/Office365

It would be great if we can embed the powerBI dashboards also in SharePoint
