Conditional formatting on Data Bars in a Table

Hi, it seems the options for conditional formatting on Data Bars in a Table is very basic. I want to custom colour the data bars in one column (current year) based on the values in another column (prior year) i.e. add red or green colours for the bar depending on the progress (if ahead of Prior Year it is green, if behind it is red).

Can you please consider improving the conditional formatting in future releases

Hi. I would like Microsoft team to incorporate the feature for conditional formatting in the bar (& other Charts). For eg., if i have made 5 different buckets, so the the bar, it should allow us to use 5 x colours on the same bar so the end user can see that from the X total, so and so are from bucket 'a', so and so from bucket 'b' and so on.

We need conditional formatting for bar chart in power bi , user may be able to set condition on the spot inside bar chart formatting options.

Agenda:

It is better to have conditional formatting for bar colors in stacked bar charts in Power bi, So we will be able to change the color of the bar over certain conditions for example target sales by month, and the target value ifSales value cross the target the color of bar should be different or highlight.

Conditional formatting to Bar chart with multiple measures

In a Bar chart with single measure, I can see Advanced controls option to apply conditional formatting. But when I drag multiple measures, advanced controls option is getting disappeared and unable to apply conditional formatting. It would be great if we can have conditional formatting to multiple measures in bar graph. Thanks.

Conditional Formatting of Data Bars in Matrix Visual

Hello Team ,

I came across an idea where it will be really useful if we could perform conditional formatting based on rules for the colors of the data bars .

example , if the value of the data bar is 1,2 and 3

But the category they belong is A , B and A

Then we should be able to select color of data bar with value A as Blue and with value B as red

So data bar color will be Blue , Red , Blue

Conditional Color formatting for bar charts with multiple metrics.

Conditional Color formatting for bar charts with multiple metrics: Example - In a simple bar chart, If I select multiple metrics in my values field it should give me an option set the bar colors (conditional formatting) based on a minimum and maximum value. If they are above 100 then all the bars should be green or if they are below 90 then red and anything between 90-100 should be white etc.

BUG - Conditional formatting Values in a Stacked Bar Chart

Conditional formatting works as intended for changing Bar color based on specific value. But same logic doesn't apply to Values.

Example -

• New Column: IF([col1]=True, "#D2D0CE", "#FCB714")
• Bar color accepts conditional formatting using Field value format
• Values don't accept or follow same logic

Different conditional formatting criteria for background color and font color, and allow conditional formatting setting on data bars

Currently for conditional formatting of data bar, we can only set the color when the value is positive or negative.

However, as a developer or even a user, this is not suffice. We all expect further formatting can be done based on different criteria, such as highlighting the bar of a specific products / highest value, etc. This is now not achievable.

Besides, please allow developer to set different conditional formatting for background color,for value and total,AT THE SAME TIME. SAme for font color. Current options are "Values only", "Totals only" and "Values and Totals". The frequently used and expected possibility of setting toal and value conditional formatting differently is not provided.

Please add these functionality.
