Azure Map zoom control
this isn't as much a suggestion as pointing out a frustrating bug: the Azure Maps app has the ability to toggle 'auto zoom' off and on... the problem is, it simply doesn't work. no matter how many times I deselect the option, whenever I make a change in a visual with Azure map (apply a filter, etc.), it zooms out to the show the extended data... it is incredibly frustrating.
While I'm here on Azure maps (or even Bing maps), how is it possible you don't provide for multiple layers? You do in Excel, why can't you sort that out with pbi?

Azure Map Improvements: Ref Layer, Bubbles & Tooltips
Compared to Azure Maps, the Power BI version has limited options for reference layers. The Power BI version should have the full functionality, including the ability to change the opacity, more control over size beyond 'small, medium, or large', color of outline, ability to remove the outline, stroke of outline, etc.
The bubble layer is ordered based on the legend, with the first category being at the back and the last category being at the forefront. This causes the bubbles to be overtaken by the last category listed in the legend. We need the ability to randomize the bubble layers.
When using a legend, you can select a single or multiple categories to be displayed by clicking on the legend. You can change the transparency of the unselected data points from 0 to 100% but the same is not the case for the unselected data point's Tooltip when hovering over the map. When I choose to make my unselected data points 100% transparent, the unselected data point's Tooltip continues to populate when hovering over the map. This makes it seem as though the selection and filtering of data is not working properly or that there's a problem with the data. The Tooltip of unselected data points should match the transparency of the unselected data points.

Allow more geojson features in Azure Maps visual
The Azure Maps visual in Power BI allows the desktop user to add a reference layer to the map with a text file in .json format. This is useful to show custom territory shapes or reference points on the map.
There are some .geojson properties that are blocked but would be nice to have.
-Labels
-Marker symbols inside markers. Currently a marker can be shown in Azure Maps for Power BI, but the symbol inside the marker will not. The symbol would allow easier separation of different markers

Map layers
Very basic, need an out-of-the-box map feature that allows for multiple layers (e.g. building on one that has latitudes and longitudes, and employee zip codes on a separate layer that uses city names for GIS mapping); this is found in other BI platforms (e.g. Tableau), and in Excel(!)

Layers in Maps - Possible Esri Connector
Creating layers in maps. For example I would like to have a layer showing our truck information and another layer showing nearby Tim Horton. Or if there is a possible Connector available to connect PowerBI to Esri

Multiple layers on the map
multiple layers on the map I need a map with two layers that show me one layer showing the active clients and the other layer visualizing the clients prospects. In this way, I could see the map of opportunities in a certain region that I have not been working on yet.

Map Layering
Maps that allow more editing. Allow for more choices like State specific with county lines. Allow the background to be blank without roads, rivers, forests, etc....Allow for multiple layers to be added based on locations within the map for example bars of data protruding from Zip Codes on a state map. This would make for really nice visuals. Just open the program up and let it soar. Give the user everything and see what happens. P-BI has great potential if you allow the user the freedom to make things.

Transparent "map style" to allow for layering
If the core map visuals had a map style that was transparent (in addition to Aerial, Dark, Light, Grayscale, and Road), then Power BI maps could have two layers! The designer would simply need to place two map visuals on top off each other with the top map having a transparent style. This would allow for Power BI to support common mapping scenarios (the bottom layer is choropleth-based map and the top layer to be a dot-based map).

Adding multiple layers in map visualization
Displaying and calculations based on multiple Tables with location data in a single Map Visual by adding different layers.
We should be able to
- Add multiple layers independent of each other still visualize in same map.
- Cross layer analysis / visualization be possible e.g. ( Layer 1 : customer locations, Layer 2: Store Locations , Layer 3: Delivery staff locations , this can help in optimize the logistics cost/Time.
- A cosmetic layer could be generated on basis of criteria say nearest store/stock available / nearest free Delivery staff etc.
- Report generation w.r.t. cross mapping of layers like nearest / farthest 3 delivery staff to all the store Location etc..
There are many of such features are available in Mapinfo a desktop mapping application

Add WMS map layers
I would like to be able to add WMS layers (and ideally other map services) to the maps in PowerBI. Bing is great for a lot of things but there are a ton of WMS servers out there including services companies have spent time and money developing It would be nice to use those custom maps with PowerBI.
