Sort Personal Bookmarks in Power BI

Hi Power BI Team,

it would be great if we could sort personal bookmarks in the Power BI Service.

After getting a new Laptop the bookmarks are mixed up, would be great if the end user could sort them in the service.

Power Bi personal Bookmarks Not supported With Power Bi Embedded

As for now personal bookmarks are not supported in Power Bi Embedded  we got this answer  from PBI Support 3-4 days ago. We can see an example for them in the power Bi JS Playground page and it is very confusing as it took us more then a month to discover that Personal Bookmarks are not supported with Power Bi Embedded. We think this is one of the most basic features, it exist in the Power Bi Service but not with Power Bi Embed and actually preventing us from using Power Bi embed at the monument as our client users can not work without personal bookmarks.

Add grouping and re-ordering functionality to personal bookmarks in Power BI Service

It would be great if the functionality in Power BI desktop around grouping bookmarks and re-ordering bookmarks was brought into the Power BI service for personal bookmarks. This will unlock a greatly improved, Power Point style, data presentation experience for report consumers in Power BI. The lack of capability around grouping personal bookmarks means report consumers cannot set up groups to save multiple presentations. This is very limiting to managers who have responsibility for multiple teams. The lack of capability to re-order bookmarks means that presentations have to be planned in advance, then bookmarks have to be set up in the order they are to be displayed in. The lack of grouping and sorting functionality for personal bookmarks means many people in my organisation still use Power Point presentations with screen grabs of Power BI. It is more easy and more flexible than the current personal bookmark experience in the Power BI service. If sorting and grouping were to be added report in consumers in my organisation would fully embrace Power BI for delivering data presentations to teams.

my personal bookmarks in a central place (as App feature) instead for each semantic model

Would be nice to have all personal bookmarks for all semantic models in one place, so that Users do not have to go into the individual semantic models first.

Example: in case I have a published App with 4 different semantic models: All my personal bookmarks should be central for the App in one place (including all the bookmarks of all semantic models in the App)

Stop removing Personal Bookmarks when re-publishing a Report

As of now, when you Re-publish a Report from Desktop, all the user's Personal Bookmarks will disappear, although you are working in the same WorkSpace as beforehand. Re-publishing of reports is often needed in larger companies, as you continuously enhance your existing reports, based on the business' needs. Would it be possible to enable a feature where the user's Personal Bookmark will not be removed from a particular Workspace when Re-publishing a report?

Please allow for more than the current 20 personal bookmarks in Power BI. The great functionality is restricted by this unfortunate limit. Thank you.

Bookmarks in Power BI embedded

Per today you cannot show the bookmark pane in embedded power bi reports. It would be good to have the option to 1) show the bookmark pane in embedded (like with the filter pane) 2) An extension to 1 would be to retrieve bookmarks and set them programatically to the report. As the filter / bookmark pane is not that goodlooking in an embedded report as i power bi service.

Allow users to organize personal bookmarks by moving them up or down the list of bookmarks and allowing grouping, just like the report bookmarks feature.

Increase the personal bookmark limit above 20

Hi, Currently a user can only save 20 personal bookmarks per report and cannot save any further, can we remove this limitation or increase the limit?? This would simplify the usage of the report as the user doesn't have to choose the filters every time they land on the report especially in situation where they are looking at too many fields Regards, Priyanka

Add comments function for Ipad Mobile App for PBI ReportServer Reports

I have the PowerBI mobile app on my Ipad as well as on my Iphone and we are using Power BI ReportServer. On my IPhone I have all of the comment functions which I already know from PowerBI Online, but if I open the same Power BI Report Server Report on my IPad with the Power BI app - there isn't any comment function. It is missing, but a really important feature.
