Per today you cannot show the bookmark pane in embedded power bi reports. It would be good to have the option to
1) show the bookmark pane in embedded (like with the filter pane)
2) An extension to 1 would be to retrieve bookmarks and set them programatically to the report. As the filter / bookmark pane is not that goodlooking in an embedded report as i power bi service.

having the same issue, with embedded power bi simply can use the personal bookmarks option, it simply doesn't work and according to the support them it is not supported .
It is very confusing and frustrating as you demonstrate personal bookmarks in the power bi js playground , we spent lots of time trying to make it work only to discover later it is simply not supported

Indeed this would be awesome. There is a way to get those programatically and have some sort of bookmarking interface done in-house, but I reckon this would be a waste of resources if MSFT comes out with it soon.

The ability to call/view bookmarks programmatically (i.e. not just from a button click) would be very useful

At least, Power Bi embedded should show the bookmark pane.
