When Datasets are not in use in daily basis should not go into Inactivity status and should not disable the scheduled refresh.

This absolutely has to happen. It is creating all kinds of issues for us. We do a lot of back end data syncing with no interface. If we aren't deliberate about "touching" each dataset every week or so, in can cause major issues (financial too) for us. Please stop this behavior. I need to be in full control of if and when the dataset stops refreshing!!!

I support this. I had a daily refresh schedule. Yes, it hasn't been accessed in a while but when I needed it now I have to wait for whenever the system feels like refreshing the data. At the very least provide a proactive email notification of what will be changing. Just turning things off without warning is not a good idea. There is an option within the scheduled refresh to send email failure notifications to certain people.
