Yes please that would be awesome
2020 and nothing at all... Microsoft is giving no **** for PBI. That's why I am switching to Tableau
Please implement this functionality. If I have a scatter plot of 100+ points and want to mark 20 of them - is the solution really to control click each of them?
So far I love PBI and so the below is constructive criticism.
I am learning Power BI after having used other designers like Crystal and SSRS and the interface of Visual Studio. My experience with selecting and moving objects is similar to the experience I have with much of the formatting in PBI - it is dreadfully slow and time consuming the way that they have built it.
PBI is very powerful and getting data out of the source and modeled is a snap compared to other solutions,. However, making good looking reports like the examples that can be downloaded is very painful and is where MS needs to do some serious work. I would prefer to see more of a Visual Studio type layout with panes that I can move around and organize as I see fit and lists of properties that are not grouped in show/hide fashion that are hard to find and time consuming to access.
Dragging to select objects should just be part of a faster editing experience.
We could live without this if the selection was faster. But as soon as you select the second object, further selections becomes extremely slow and almost non-responsive. It would be great if this is fixed or drag and select is introduced. I'm guessing it's not such a complex feature since it's available by default in all other apps.
Totally need this feature it is so painful to select each individual visual
Please do this! On our reports with a ton of visuals, this is a HUGE time waster. I've spent hours selecting one object at a time, nudging it around, selecting the next, having to send things forward and backward constantly to be able to move everything.
Come on this is basic stuff - Please add this feature
please add this feature .. else power bi will die in future !!!!
You can use selection Pane to Ctrl click objects and then move them. not as easy as drag square around objects but still better than selecting one by one especially if they have actions

We've implemented rectangle select for visuals as of April 2020, including nudge!
