    Add the ability to align the column content in tables, e.g. left- and right-aligned, centred, etc. in Power BI Desktop.

    I'd like to center align the column header and data, but put a background color behind just the column header and not the value. Seems I still cannot do this unless I am missing something.

    Hi, what about card alignment? For center align i use multi-row cards instead of card (that let only left align option).Still i didn't find any solution for top align etc.

    It would be great if you can align your text as in Microsoft Word.
    For eg. Align Center Left or align bottom center.
    Because in a table the text is at the top it does not look neat.

    After updating to Power BI Desktop for Report Server (March 2018) I noticed that this feature has been added. I was excited. But then I published to the Report Server and the text is not aligned there. For example, my table has columns that are centre-aligned in the Desktop app and it looks great, but after publishing to RS and opening the Report in a browser, the alignment is all messed up. Weirdly, they are all right-aligned now.

    I think this is the most important feature that Power BI should prioritise. It is widely being used across other Microsoft products and one of the mandatory feature for doing formatting. It would really be helpful.
