Need to be able use other symbols on maps rather than just the bubbles. Flexibility of the infographic visual but on the map points

RE: Map Symbology

I want to produce a map showing which of our offers have been delivered at each location. An ideal map would have a cluster of icons (1-6) around each location representing the offers. This could be specified by using the Image URL field type in a lookup table we have with offer details. Currently, I am delivering this information using a tooltip page. While this works at a basic level, it does not provide an at-a-glance view. There are some messy workarounds to simulate a custom label, but it requires a custom column that cannot interact with filters. This also adds to the bubble instead of replacing it.

RE: Map Symbology

YES! This is a definite need. Many of us need to differentiate between plots on the map. While color helps, having the ability to have varying shapes (Similar to ArcGIS) would be great.

Also, it would be nice to be able to tie symbols to data so that categories can have different data shapes on top of different colours. Even better, allow one category for shape and another for colour!

RE: Map Symbology

Agree, need more symbol customization options for both default map visual and ArcGIS
