Can there be a possibility for a click-through?
Really going from one report to another report based on information you clicked on the first report?

RE: Click-through

I suspect some of the reason this feature is still not implemented is because you can filter visuals on the same page with a click using interactions. So with the correct arrangement of visuals to expose the information, you could get the same information conveyed.

But I think this misses the great utility there is in not showing information. It is incredibly important that reports be clean, efficient, and focus on the signal, rather than be a noise dump.

Clicking for information is a way to place markers about exposure. If a single page was able to hide and expose information with clicks, it would be equivalent to the ask to click for page navigation and I don't think anyone would object. The need is to provide convenient data navigation in a noise-free manner. See the asks for landing pages and other layouts.

If the reason this has not been seen as important is the existence of tabs, that just fails by click count arguments. A page knows what links it may want into deep reports. Navigating tabs can be a longer multiclick experience when the reports have many pages, and tabs aren't embedded in meaningful ways into the information.

I hope the need for this is understood.

RE: Click-through

Agree, i have a number of filtered time series graphs on one page, i want to be able to click a graph through to a page that shows the detail of the filtered graphs monthly data and additional graphs based on the same filters. The data is not hierarchical so drillthrough does not appear to be an option.

RE: Click-through

This is really really needed. Any document where you have multiple pages NEEDS the ability to click through from one page to another.

Its rather embarrassing telling customers that we can't link from one report page to another.

RE: Click-through

Even just the ability to set up hyperlinks to specific report pages in Power BI Desktop that will still work after publication would be a good start.

RE: Click-through

I echo all previous sentiments. In a world where everyone's used to clicking on stuff to find out more, this would add great flexibility. Any updates on whether it is in the pipeline?

RE: Click-through

Much needed since the dashboards have no ability to filter. The combination excludes any real dashboarding.

RE: Click-through

Surely this is much needed feature in Power BI. There should be some linking between two pages also, apart from drill through(that too require more that one click) one should able to go to specific page by clicking on particular item on page

RE: Click-through

This is an important feature for BI to carry over any selection to other dashboards.
