If you have multiple sources of data, with some large and small it would be ideal if you could just refresh one source (small) so it speeds up the process of updating the dashboard massively.

I have a python script that would like to refresh quarterly and the semantic model is connected two 3 other sources. Since python needs to be run with gateway, I do not want to keep my computer on. Desktop version has the choice to stop loading for certain tables. I hope power BI web can also provide such option!!!!!

It would be nice to have this feature. My data sources are from SQL databases and Excel files. The data in Excel files are quite static so there is no need to refresh the data in Excel. Also, it is quite a hurdle for me to place these Excel files at a location where the BI Gateway can access.

This is a much needed feature. Would appreciate it's addition.

This is a crucial feature when bandwidth is restricted per refresh. This prevents updating the sources one by one manually. Please add this feature as soon as possible. A checklist where we can select data sources to refresh is all we want.

Required for refreshing new datasets only, and leaving old datasets not refreshed.

Badly need this feature. Else, the purpose of having multiple connections is lost.

I'm having issues with this because I have a dataset with two different connections, BigQuery and Excel. And I have configure that I don't want to refresh the table from the Excel file but anyway, when I publish it to Power BI Service, if the gateway is turned off I can't refresh the whole dataset. I doesn't make sense!

Only 10% of my data needs hourly refresh, the rest is weekly. I cannot schedule the hourly refresh because the 90% portion of data that I don't need takes more than an hour to update.

Definitively needed. Any single data source refresh or at least single refresh for related data sources ( two merged tables to make a 3rd would of course have to all be refreshed at once). It's just not very efficient from either side to have to refresh all data sets in a Power BI Desktop File.
