Please add row number display on/off to Table visual. It is very practical.

It's easy to add row numbers when handling tables in R and dplyr. It's a little strange it's not been included in DAX until now.

Logically it makes sense to have the ability to add a row number to Tables/Matrix Visuals, especially when compared to excel which always has row/column numbers visible. This should have been added a long time ago.

Not only row number, but rather being able to have an auto-incrementing index or row number to use as a measure, would be EXTREMELY useful for DAX measures to compare to previous values to be able to get the immediate previous value using an index which is dynamic/measure-driven

Please add this feature, while it is possible to add a measure counting the rows it is fraught with additional problems when the table is sorted by the user or slicers are activated.
A simple row number on or off will be great!
