    hiding report object in desktop layout, hides it also in phone layout

    If I hide an object in the desktop layout, it automatically gets hidden from the phone layout even though it was already on the grid

    Please, do not hide them as if it were one. There are some buttons (actions, go to bookmarks) that I want to include in the mobile view that I cannot show on the desktop view but If I hide it from the latter I cannot show it on the mobile.

    Absolutely okay, how do you design a layout well if I can't use the objects in a separate way between the 2 views?

    Agree completely. To make the mobile view at least somewhat usable, we should be able to design elements specifically for mobile and be able to hide them in desktop view.

    I have the same problem, and to workaround I am creating a rectangle object from the shape tool in the home ribbon as a background for my desktop view report and I keep the items I want to show only in mobile layout behind this rectangle in desktop view.

    I hope there is a better solution to hid items permanently in desktop layout and keep it seen only in mobile layout.
