Can we control the date format of the last refresh date shown at the top of the screen in the new UI. It currently has the date format only used in the United States and will confuse most of the rest of the world. It doesn't seem to pick up from office settings or the browser locale.

This problem has been present for many years and it's a little disappointing it hasn't been resolved yet.Surely, this is an easy fix for the developers to update the date format options. A majority of countries do not use month/day/year, so no doubt this will make a lot of customers happy.

I can't believe Microsoft application still have this type of issue :( The same applies to this ideas site - Please use the ISO date format that's used the world over (except USA) , or at least yyyy/mm/dd

This is sorely needed. US date format does not make sense to most people outside of the US. Date format for everything should either be linked to system settings, or the month name should be used rather than number.
