We should be able to specify the Y-axis scaling for the KPI visual's Trend Axis. If we could at least have fields for "Start" and "End" values that would be great.
As the KPI visual works currently, the shaded Trend Axis doesn't provide much insight since we have no frame of reference for what it means. One of the first rules of data visualization is to set your Y-Axis to zero and I'm currently unable to do that with the visual.

Agreed, and I'm surprised this doesn't have more votes.
