Anyone who uses Power BI and audits its logs will only be able to audit until dashboard level. The idea is to increase the level of detail to page level so that you can know which pages are beeing visited the most/least and by which users. This new information will enable you to modify your dashborads accordingly, enhance them and much more.

RE: Page level audit log

Please add this functionality. Would be great to see which pages see the most vs least activity in our most active reports!

THis feature is used mostly by Admins and auditors. General Audience don't see it's significance importance. THat doesn't mean that this isn't important. YOu might not see 6k votes that you have in other ideas but this is basic necessity for Admins. Please do consider this as your priority item to work on.

RE: Page level audit log

As a product owner over my company's Power BI reports, Microsoft's built-in usage reports do not meet my need to be able to compare usage between reports. My company solved this by building our own usage report using the audit logs. However, we ran into a major roadblock because the audit logs don't provide page-level usage details. So now we have a high-level usage report that provides the comparison across reports, but I have to use the built-in usage reports to get the page-level details. the back and forth is too much.

Page level detail is important to our user metrics as well.

RE: Page level audit log

I need to report usage over time, by user and page, and build these data into my ongoing reporting. I need data at the page level detail that I can match up to my users and know who is using reports, how much, at a detail level so i can tie in my key event dates.

Access to the underlying model is needed also.
The calendar needs to be tied to each fact table.
We also need the ability for an Admin or a role with access to multiple workspaces to be able to combine the activity across them.

This would add the capability to review performance metrics of each report page . For a power BI editor, this information is very useful, and will also help to get the best out of the spend consumptions $ in Azure
