We need the option to drill up or down online for individual graphs. The new update online is terrible and it is not intuitive. At least add drill up or down back to graphs and also have the option in the explore tab online. There is also not an option to drill up or down when you are in full screen, which is very cumbersome. This is honestly one of the worst updates for the online version.

You can use the drill icon on the visual or use right click to drill on a visual either on the web or in Power BI Desktop.

The inability to know whether a graph can be drilled or not, is at a partway already drilled point or not - terrible.
Plus many things are viewed correctly formatted in Full Screen, but not always just online view.
Any meetings we use televisions at the display, and full screen's a necessity - the TV's don't display the slightly-smaller online view clearly. Neither do projectors.

I added a rant & comment on the blog post about what I think should happen for this issue.
I also want to add in a statement on the design method I'd like to see the PowerBI team implement. Try to minimize the number of clicks and mouse moves a user must make to interact with information and make sure users can interact with it in any view. Today's update fails by both standards.

Also, why not shortcuts? Shift-LeftClick to drill down, Ctrl-RightClick to drill up? Much snappier than toggling modes.

It needs to be available in full-screen mode otherwise an entire use-case scenario is removed. Ideally both the "old" and "new" ways of drilling down can be made available. Ultimately I agree, very strange change where we're struggling to grasp the logic behind it. The blog, which wasn't posted until after the change, doesn't explain why it was done or how it improves the platform.

Please bring back these buttons on the iOS App! Drilldown is now no longer possible on iPads and was a key feature for our mobile users

Drill down/up needs to be present within each visualization. Whether that is through the use of a double-click like it was implemented in Power View or through the use of drill down/up buttons on the visualization. This new approach using the explore tab at the top of the page is cumbersome and much more difficult to use.

My internal customers loved this feature. This will hurt my service levels if it doesn't reappear.

We've built an entire suite of powerBI dashboards centered around this capability. It has to be restored.
