I have seen multiple requests for help on receiving service outage updates by regions so I am creating an idea. Users need to be able to receive automated notifications of Power BI Service outages based on their regions without having to manually navigate to this page: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

RE: Service outage email updates.

Outages or any sort of disruption which can either be monitored or if we can get alerts for the same will be a really big help for me. A lot of users in my company are using reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis. If we are notified about this early on, atleast I(working for IT department) can inform the business users about it so that they are prepared. You have my vote for this idea. Thanks,Jishu Basak

Same here,
With the incident of the last days, the only way to be informed is to create a ticket to MS.
Users who connect to powerbi have to be informed on incidents.

RE: Service outage email updates.

Yes! We really need this. When the employees gets error popups, they freak out and lose faith in the software. They don't understand it as much as the people that are extremely involved in the platform. It would be very beneficial to have our Power Bi point person get out in front of it and warn the rest of the company.
