    Remove limitations on write operations for external tools

    Power BI External tools are limited when they write into the desktop's model :

    Please remove these limitations so the desktop reflects modification made in Tabular Editor

    The current workaround to add or remove tables is way to complicated, please remove this last limitation.Workaround:In TE: Connect to local model In TE: Save and reopen model locallyIn PBI Desktop: save as pbipIn file explorer: replace model.bim in pbipReopen pbip
