Be able to create email subscriptions for the PBIX reports in the Report Server

We’d hoped we’d have a good way to bring this functionality to the server – however, similarly to Export to PDF, after a lengthy evaluation of all the options and required investments, we’re not planning to bring this feature to the server at this time.

Completely agree. This would make it very easy to get this data to the right people. Currently, I subscribe and get the emails, but have a rule set that when I receive the subscription email it forwards it to my team in the morning.

RE: Email subscriptions for Power BI reports in Report Server

2 ideas:
1) Can subscription options similar to SSRS be added - so you could schedule the time, audience, etc.
2) Currnetly, there is a subscription available, but it emails a max of 1x/day no matter how often the data refreshes. Could it be an option to allow the user to set the # of reports to receive max per hour/day/etc? Or perhaps an option to "Receive the report after X data refreshes" or something along those lines? With our data source (tabular cube) that builds 3 times/day - ideally our users want their reports each time the data refreshes - not just at the first build of the day (2 AM).

This is critical feature for Power Report server, specially reports that cannot be published to Power BI service.

It's standard in BI to have a subscription service. This is an area where Tableau is better than Power BI because it fails to adhere to this requirement.

PowerBI report email subscriptions was part of the whole reason I wanted to use Power BI report server for our company. I initially assumed that this was a completed feature but just found out that it isn't. I hear it is on the backlog of things to do so would be nice to move it up on the list. We would not purchase without PBIRS without this feature.

The ability to push key pages even as static images with a link back to the interactive report would be a huge time saver. We currently have to develop very rich SSRS reports to support the sending of relatively simple KPI card type reports on a daily basis
