Hi all,

This is possible for free for both Import and DirectQuery methods via an ODBC custom connector I've been developing. As far as I'm aware - that's the only way to get around Heroku's inability to add your own certificates.

Yes - connecting to postgresql on heroku. First application I was trying to implement with powerbi.

Has anyone tried to connect to PostgreSQL database at heroku recently? I have successfully connected to the database on the on-premise Powerbi, but if I upload the report it doesnt work. Got any ideas?

100% agree. We had to buy a subscription to BIME.io MS PowerBI definitely needs to support Heroku Postgres.
