Currently when using (the amazingly powerful) drilldown feature for Power BI Desktop visualizations you only see the field name for your current level. So if you drill down into a bar for Sales Amt by Customer (for Customer B) and then see Sales Amt by Product Category Purchased and drilldown further to Sakes Ant by Product Name, you only see Sales Amt by Product Name. It would be incredibly helpful to see Sales Amt by Customer (Customer B) -> by Product Category -> by Product Name. So you can see not just the level you are on, but the original specific graph.

I do a workaround for breadcrumbs (hierarchy path) using TreeMaps.
Anyone interested I can send you a proof of concept.

I agree, we need the visualizations to show what level we are at and what we drilled down on.
