    I would like the ability to connect to .ODS (open document spread sheet) sources from the web, I can open the files on this webpage: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/fire-statistics-data-tables#incident-level-datasets in Excel and it converts them but when trying to connect to this type of file directly in Power BI Desktop I receive the following error: DataFormat.Error: External table is not in the expected format.

    This, especially as gov.uk appear to be picking up their move to ODS formatting for published data sets

    yes please, this would be really useful for me - saves running powershell scripts to download the data, convert to excel load into sql and then call from sql!
