Add the ability to take or transfer ownership of a dataflow to another user. Currently all I see is a message indicating only the owner can edit the dataflow. This is needed to enhance maintainability and enable enterprise level support of a dataflow if the owner is out of office or leaves the company. At least the same take ownership option that is already available with datasets.

Now you can take over a dataflow ownership using “Take over” in Dataflows settings!

RE: Take or Transfer Ownership of a Dataflow

For those that have gotten this far and noticed they can
First, in order to see the TAKE OVER option, you need to click the ellipsis next to the Dataflow and select Settings. If it is owned by someone else, you should now see the Take Over yellow button.

Second, there is a NEW User Voice item along these lines that requests that ownership of Dataflows be granted to Workspace Admins. Please go to this link and supply your vote:

RE: Take or Transfer Ownership of a Dataflow

For those who note that we cannot transfer ownership for dataflows storing on our own Azure Data Lake gen2, here is the feature:

https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/39700732-take-or-transfer-ownership-of-a-dataflow-using-azu

This is a total blocker for us, makes using data flows with our own storage impossible.

"Take Over" is not visible. Please can this idea be repoened as it is not complete. When Data Lake Gen 2 storage account is used this option is not available.

RE: Take or Transfer Ownership of a Dataflow

Really?!?! So in a team we need to take ownership every time one needs to get a glimpse?

RE: Take or Transfer Ownership of a Dataflow

take ownership for Dataflow are not possible with bring you own storage Enabled. (No Button)

This is very very bad, we are a big company, enabled “bring you own Storage” and now I am the only on for our Dashboard System, how can edit Dataflows. Bevor we enabled bring you own storage, everybody can press the button “take ownership” and edit the Dataflows, now i am only^^ when you can implement this?

We can see this"Take over" in the old Office 365 Group workspaces, however, this is not available for the new app experience.

I would like to assign an AD group as an owner of a dataflow.
