The 'relative date filtering' option in the 'Filter Type' drop-down is a great tool, but it doesn't contain the ability to exclude dates.

It would be great if I could select "Show items when the value: is NOT in the last day, month, or year" rather than only being able to select inclusive dates.

This is specifically for the use-case of looking at rolling Same Store Sales numbers. I need to be able to exclude customers whose first sales dates are in the last 12 months. A Relative date filtering selection for this would look like "Show items when the value: is not in the last 12 months".

Thanks for reading!

RE: relative date slicer exclusions

Same here! I'm looking at historical performance per employee and I want to exclude people who have been hired recently. I'd have to create a calculated boolean field to be able to do it as it stands, but my users might want to change the period, so an "exclude" checkbox would solve the issue. (And the same stands for any slicer, really. As soon as you have more than 5 values, clicking all the values you want to include instead of excluding the few you don't want is bad UX.)

I have a similar requirement. I need to show a report with items due in 30, 60, 90 day windows. I need to be able to show "is in the next 60 days AND is NOT in the next 30 days".
