I have a chart with a location on the bar chart axis and stacked bars are plotted. It would be nice to be able to click on the location axis items and filter an entire report page by to that location/ axis.

But I completely agree this seems like basic functionality for any interactive data visualization product

Why does this not have more votes?! At the moment I am placing horizontal slicers underneath column charts to try to mimic this. It just seems logical to be able to do this.
