This idea has come about from the introduction of personal bookmarks in the PBI Service: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-personal-bookmarks-in-the-power-bi-service/

Many report creators use bookmarks as a dynamic way of showing/hiding visuals, or navigating between tabs. Exposing an end user to these bookmarks could be confusing for them and expose the underlying workings of the report.

Personal bookmarks are great, but an option in PBI Desktop to expose certain bookmarks in the PBI Service would satisfy both report creators and consumers.

Please add this feature. The bookmark navigation is nice, but it proves incredibly limited if I can't hide bookmarks.

I can not believe this idea is still avtive. This is a problem that should have been solved from the beginning. Very confusing for our customers. Please solve this ASAP.

Please add asap this is very confusing for users who can currently see all the developer bookmarks that are for showing/hiding visuals etc.

I'm new to PowerBI. I can not believe that this feature is not already part of the system. Guys in a Cube and all these Microsoft Gurus are promoting all fancy "engaging apps" with lots of buttons that all require tons of bookmarks and then it is not possible to hide these "technical bookmarks" from end users who get confused. If you don't want to show/hide, please at least allow some grouping / folder structure of bookmarks. Then we can at least park all these technical bookmarks in a separate folder.

This is crazy. We have all this great functionality we're leveraging to create a seamless experience for end users, and then god forbid they want to create their own bookmarks, they see dozens of meaningless ones!

This would help reduce confusion for users.

This is essential. Users always try to use them, without knowing what the bookmark is about. Hide "report bookmark" to avoid unnecessary confusion.

Great Idea. Even replicating the show/hide button for filters would be great.

This is needed to hide any kinds of navigational/filter state/information box types of bookmarks from the end user.
