All of the current Ideas that mention SAP BusinessObjects BI Universe integration are marked as completed as this feature was offered pre June/July release. This is nearly a critical requirement for adoption in my organization.
I had previously heard that this was removed due to licencing restrictions, can we get an official response on that? Is there any possibility of this being re-integrated?

Unfortunately, the Business Objects connector was removed due to a number of reasons.

Absolutely needed, the level of ease this will provide is significant enough to request a connector.

We essentially only use Business Objects and Power BI - but still have to pick a favorite when it comes to projects. Please integrate so we can use the query capacity of Business Objects and the visualization strength of Power BI.

MS and SAP really need to work this out. This would be a major win for both companies as it would give developers the best of both worlds. The universe layer eliminates the need to manage database views and provides a level of security. The visualizations in Power BI far surpass WebI
