    All of the current Ideas that mention SAP BusinessObjects BI Universe integration are marked as completed as this feature was offered pre June/July release. This is nearly a critical requirement for adoption in my organization.

    I had previously heard that this was removed due to licencing restrictions, can we get an official response on that? Is there any possibility of this being re-integrated?

    Unfortunately, the Business Objects connector was removed due to a number of reasons.

    Really, Really sorry to see this one get declined, but I am guessing that SAP put up barriers to allowing this connectivity as making it easier for PowerBI to connect to UNX would have negative effect on adoption of SAP Analytics Cloud and other SAP Data Viz tools. Instead of "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" ... SAP is taking the approach of "If you can't beat 'em, obstruct 'em".

    Will there be any future plans from MS to import BO Objects to Power BI, so no need to repeat the already done work in SAP BO

    Something to import universes to some structure inside PBI also help us.

    This is a critical requirements for all clients using SAP's BOBJ toolset to utilize universe's semantic layer in power bi instead of re inventing the semantic layer back again in Power BI.
