Currently, hyperlinks in Card Browser must begin with http:// or https://, Mailto: links are not supported.
Using a Card Browser custom visual to display a list of employees with information such as their email address with a clickable link would be very useful.

RE: Allow Mailto: links in Card Browser visual
It would be very helpful if we could add mailto links to image actions. Right now it doesn't work as desired and needs a bunch of workarounds (which don't look good).
RE: Allow Mailto: links in Card Browser visual
I would like to use a mailto: URL action for an image visual, which is a mail envelope icon. So would be great if this could also be added. There were some discussions along the lines in the community, but it seems no one has turned this into an idea yet. Can you take care of that or should I open this as new idea that would then be merged with this?
RE: Allow Mailto: links in Card Browser visual
this would be very useful thanks
RE: Allow Mailto: links in Card Browser visual
mailto links are allowed in tables and matrices but not in action buttons. We can't do a simple scenario like make a button to email a support mailbox. This feature would allow mailto links (and really think about accepting any kind of URL or URI) to be used in any Action setting
RE: Allow Mailto: links in Card Browser visual
Currently, links like mailtos are supported in tables and matrices, but not action buttons.
Could a button with an envelope icon be added as well as the ability for action buttons to use mailtos and other types of links?
It would be much more visually intuitive and appealing. Thank you.

Yes please!
RE: Allow Mailto: links in Card Browser visual
It's a very important feature that can help customers use the customizations that Tables and Text Boxes don't allow

This would be a very useful functionality. Hopefully, Power BI team builds this visual to support Mailto link.
