It would be really helpful to be able to sort categories in slicers without having to be alphabetical or in numerical order. Some of the filters I use need to be in an order that only makes sense within my organization, but I have no ability to sort unless they are in alphabetical or numerical order.

RE: Unique sorting on slicers

I recently had a scenario: Users want to select a number of items for audit, which have been chosen randomly. This means choosing specific numbers from a slicer. To make this easier for users, I wanted to enable the search bar in the slicer. This is only available for strings. So, I forced the index to be a string. This then produces an unfriendly sort order, e.g. 10 sorts before 2. I eventually came up with a trick using zero width spaces that generated the correct sort order. However, it feels clumsy and fragile. A better way to sort slicers would have helped here.
