Power BI date formats need to flow through to Teams

Currently when you pin a Power BI report to a team in Teams the date formats revert to the US format. It would be nice if those locale date formats could flow through to Teams.

Yes, the dates of a power BI report embedded in teams are displayed in US format (mm/dd/yy) instead of the french / UK format (dd/mm/yy) , no matter what we tried to change this. It is not the case in the desktop version of PBI. The issue is only when displaying via teams. We wont publish data through teams any more . It' too confusing . Looks like it was first reported in August 2021 ..... Thanks to fix this asap.

Emergency to have a correct date format .... US was drunk when they decided to put month first, then the days ;-)

My main issue is where it shows the date the data was updated when you view the report in Teams, it shows as US date format, but I want to show in UK format. When you view through a browser it does show as UK, but my organisation uses Teams.

I tried the d/mm/yy format on Tracy's suggestion, it fixed a static date format - but did not fix the date format on the date slicer.

Using date format d/mm/yyyy instread of a common format (eg. short date) seems to fix the issue

This is still a issue. For people living outside of US it can give a wrong idea of the data. It matters if the date shown is 02/03 or 03/02...

I would say this is much more than "it would be nice", it is vital for those who live outside the US.
