I spent a few hours trying to work out how to do this and am totally shocked you cannot do it. Tableau has this and you can alias the name. Top priority for aggregated columns, the subject of aggregation does not change.

I'm having the same problem in line charts and any other charts where I don't have the available space to show the full legend. Very annoying.

I have started moving from Tableau to Power BI where possible (company direction). This is one of those basic features that is a huge miss in Power BI.
