Working with large complex models is painfully slow.
1. Please add a cancel button to 'working on it' dialogs
2. Find a way to speed up creating a table - it can take 10 minutes open the editor even with 10 cores and 128GB RAM
3. Have developers work with large models so they have a clue how bad it is.
4. Don't make Enter= save in query editor

RE: Performance issues

Similarly, when I request to create e.g. a calculated column, the whole thing recalculates again, even though nothing has changed, cue another minute wait each time. And woe betide you if you insert a typo and hit return, then it will freeze as it processes your error, before finally letting you remove the extra bracket or whatever after about 5 minutes painful waiting.

RE: Performance issues

When e.g. going through changing the names of fields, updating formats etc., every single key stroke prompts a recalculation of the whole dashboard, it makes a trivial set of tasks take far too long. Allow a "defer recalculation" option or similar to speed up development, OR enable some kind of quick text update interface to bypass the tedious constant recalculations.
