Deleting visual by accident can happen and by undoing the actions it will reappear. However, when trying to delete the selected text in the Fields search pane it happens that the section jumps back to the visual. At that point by pressing Backspace to delete the selected text you actually delete the visual but this time it is NOT possible to undo this action.
Power BI team please fix this bug as soon as possible beacause you should always be able to undo the last action.

This is so painful. I clicked to delete part of an expression in my measure code build and my whole grid of data that I've been building is gone. I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me.
