Custom color themes have been added as a feature but appear to be limited to 8 custom colors (white and black are fixed). PowerBI creates 5 additional 'shades' for each custom color but these seem to be fixed. Can this feature be enhanced to allow more than 8 colors? Or allow the user to customize the 'shades' for each color (which would increase the total to 48)

Having a richer color palette would be great to customize reports to corporate coloring standards.

In, for example, Word or Excel you can adjust your colors with the option 'more colors'. You can't do this in Power BI Desktop. This means you cant adjust your Power BI report to the same style as your other documents to make it a whole.

I'm looking for sets of pre-built color palettes that can be applied to a visualization. These palettes should suit certain moods and intents and be created by color experts who understand color theory.

Or at least the ability to set the default color palette in the page or report properties.

In my company using company colors is very important and now the users need to go to each element and set the right hex code for the colors which is not the user experience that we need. Please make this happen

Agree, Recent colors always restores back to default after restarting the program
