It should be good if we can set Drill Mode ON/OFF by DEFAULT instead of clicking manually on the arrow every time on report.

We have improved this by allowing the drill action to take place inside the tooltip. Marking as completed. We will do more updates here but the initial item has been addressed.

The fewer clicks, the better the user experience. Please allow us to set "drill down" to be on / off by default.

Good afternoon,
Please help me understand why this is still an issue after all this time. It's been requested for over 5 years now and is causing unreasonable confusion amongst my report recipients. I have even attempted workarounds such as creating bookmarks and this still is not an acceptable workaround as the bookmarks don't seem to even remember this setting.

Is it still in planned phase? OMG this is amazing. Can someone expedite this? this is frustrating many customers.

I'm definitely throwing a vote at this. The sooner you can update the 'Planned' status with an approximate beta date, the better. This is desperately needed as an option, and it's depressing that it's taken 5 years to be planned for implementation.
Having to constantly teach report consumers how to hunt for Drilldown and Drillthrough, and keeping straight which one is useful in which situation is so time consuming. I've resorted to including a "How to Drilldown and Drillthrough" tutorial text box on one of my reports where both are useful on the same visuals after multiple rounds of user confusion.
The sooner this becomes an option we can toggle the default for, the better.
