It should be good if we can set Drill Mode ON/OFF by DEFAULT instead of clicking manually on the arrow every time on report.

We have improved this by allowing the drill action to take place inside the tooltip. Marking as completed. We will do more updates here but the initial item has been addressed.

This idea you mark as completed but still we don't see any option in Power BI to set drill down mode behavior on by default.

This is absolutely not fixed/completed. Please just make the drill-down turned on by default - that's all people have been asking! The hover over option is not that efficient.

Administrator, I think you misunderstand the nature of the request. It is not completed. If it were the Matrix would automatically drill down.
When using Field Parameters (so the report user can select rows to display) they must use the drill down function with every change, Annoying, and many users will never understand the finding and use of the drill down - assuming they select the correct drill down........

My customer really need to add this function that drill down action set as default on. Right click to drill down is still ambiguous for our customer. Please add default setting on off to make this function more clear.
