It should be good if we can set Drill Mode ON/OFF by DEFAULT instead of clicking manually on the arrow every time on report.

We have improved this by allowing the drill action to take place inside the tooltip. Marking as completed. We will do more updates here but the initial item has been addressed.

This is a real limitation in user-friendliness of any PBI report. The solution proposed by Kishore seems not to work in my case.

I'm surprised that a feature as important as this isn't done yet. Please prioritize this feature. This will help a lot of people.

Yes - please add this ASAP - this if frustrating to users who want drilldown on as the default and not filter

You may not find that option while creating dashboard in desktop application. But once you publish, you can navigate to your reports page(app.powerbi.com) and click on your visual, click on explore option, click drill down on. This will turn on drill down to that visualization. While presenting the deck or dashboard, no need of clicking arrow to activate drill down any more it will get activated by default.
