In addition to the current data-driven 'alerts' functionality, I would like to be able to choose a "one-time 'alerts'" on a metric, so that Power BI only triggers an 'alerts' the first time the number exceeds the set threshold. Our sales team has certain goals they would like to track and they don't need notifications every day past that the same goal has been exceeded, only at the first point the goal has been exceeded.

I have exactly the same problem. Once i exceed the threshold the first time, i don't wanna recieve 'alerts' every day, only when the metric reset to zero (or to a value above the threshold, so the trigger/'alerts' became active again).
