Currently the Power BI App and the New Report information Karet display the name of the person who published the report. This is not always the same as the report owner. The report owner may be the business contact to answer business related questions associated with the report. In the current state the OWner is misleading to a report consumer. Report consumer pose business related questions to the report developer, who may be part of a technical team, thus requiring redirects to find the true report owner.
Can an option exist to provide an alternate name for report owner when publishing the report app?

This was a great idea in 2019! This feature is available when publishing the app. Prior to Aug 22, 2022, you can do this when publishing an app under the "Contact Information" on the first tab, "Setup."The option to "Show app publisher" is useless and just lists the name of the workspace. Clicking it leaves an empty email address."Show items contacts from the workspace" uses the Admins of the workspace and probably not what you wanted.The third option for "Show specific individuals or groups" allows you to enter one or more email addresses for individuals or groups. The only problem I've had in our self-serve environment is that app publishers often confuse it with the Permissions list. Strangely, it allows you to set contacts for folks that don't have more than read permissions on the workspace. It should limit the list to Contributors and Admins (maybe Members), but definitely not viewers or those that got access via the app only.In the Aug 24, 2022 preview of the new App experience (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-public-preview-of-multiple-audiences-for-power-bi-apps/) these are still the same options, but maybe they will be fixed or updated before this goes live?
