It would be nice if there is an option to have a scheduled export of a report to PDF. A nice to have feature would be to directly e-mail it to people so they are being notified of the latest report.

In addition to the support we have for paginated reports already, we have started the work to support this for Power BI reports and expect it to land by the end of the calendar year in the Power BI service.  Like for paginated reports, it will be a Premium feature and will be available to customers with either Premium capacity or if you have the new Premium per user license, which will be available at no cost to all users during the public preview period.  You can read more about getting priority access to the public preview for your tenant at this link - https://powerbi.microsoft.com/blog/priority-access-sign-up-for-power-bi-premium-per-user-public-preview-now-available/

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

Given this was standard in SSRS, how it's still not available in Power BI is unbelievable

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

Dear Power BI team,

This has been a highly requested feature for many years now, however it is still not possible to export all the data in a report rather than just what is shown. Please provide one of both solutions: export all data to Excel, with the same formatting, or at least the same content (applied filters and subtotals!))

(preferred solution) Or expand the export to pdf functionality where you print all data in the visual (table/matrix), not just the data shown.

Not having this functionality has held back many clients into adopting Power BI. Many other solutions provide this functionality.

Please listen to your users and provide this functionality ASAP!

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

Hi Team,

You have kept us guessing for so long. Please tell us if we will ever get a proper print - i.e to be able to print all data that is part of the report rather than just a SCREENSHOT. If you don't plan to do that, please make it clear, so that we can find alternative solutions and not waste our time and resources. Thanks.

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

This is quite useless because it wont add all rows...

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

Hi Team,

There is the same requirement from my client, need to get report PDF attachment via email subscription.Right now we only can download it.
Also PDF should Export all the Pages present in one PBIX report and export accordingly.

Thankyou.

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

Export to PDF adds now value whatsoever as I could jus print to PDF. I was hoping to be ble to email, so tried the email via subscription service now available in the report, but you cannot subscribe standard users, they all have to be PRO users. How unhelpful is this. Its a static png image file that has no interaction, so why is Microsoft not allowing an internal (Domain User) or external Email address? Come on Microsoft, if your going to add new features, make it add some value.

RE: scheduled export of a report to pdf

This is UTTER USELESS. This does exactly what print did. We could have gone to print and just used save as pdf. We were expecting to be able to print EVERTHING that is part of the report NOT JUST what is see on the screen. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED.

Good to hear this. Was waiting for this for a long time. When this feature will be available through REST API?
