A ticket was raised for this issue back in August 2015 and was erroneously marked as Completed. Here is the link: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/9486990-ability-to-modify-the-colors-in-the-gauge

More specifically, I would like conditional color formatting on the Radial Gauge visual with respect to the Target Value. That is, if the Value is exceeding or meeting the Target Value, the gauge would be green, and if is not meeting the Target Value, the gauge would be red. If this was implemented to handle data dynamically, our stakeholders would be able to receive daily reporting on their departments with accurate color-coding.

I would appreciate a time estimate as to when this could be implemented by. Thank you.

This would be a very useful feature for a lot of C-level reports

Also allow us to make it flat so it doesn't take up so much real estate

Also multiple dimensions, multiple gauge capability within a single visual

I can't believe they released this visual without this functionality. its absolutely ridiculous. What's taking them so long?

Try out these gauge visuals. It has dynamic conditional formatting - https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA200000728?tab=Overview

RE: Conditional color formatting for Radial Gauge

'I believe that one of more useful conditional formatting to the gauge can be if we can have a conditional formatting based on other measure.

For Example I have 2 measures Actual and Target:
- If the Actual value it's lower than Target, the bar it's green.
- If the Actual value it's higher than Target, the bar it's red.

The Idea here it's to have the Target value dynamic, when I slice the information by division for example, my target will be adjusted based on the selection.

Today we only have the option to put a number and set when the value it's higher than this the bar will be red.
