Create a global dashboard with Pin's from reports on multiple workspaces. That dashboard could be stored on "My Workspace".

Because Apps is 1:1 relation with workpaces we end up creating a workspace for RH, Operations, Finantials and it's hard to create a dashboard with KPI's / Measures from all those areas.

RE: Multi Workspace Dashboard

A Power BI or SharePoint Online solution to this would be appreciated. SharePoint should at least allow you to create a page using Power BI Dashboard tiles from the Power BI App.

RE: Multi Workspace Dashboard

Please add the featue it would be very useful for the customers and would reduce the number of appworkspaces or report copies one has to create

RE: Multi Workspace Dashboard

We have the same situation where we different functional reports in different workspaces and want to combine these visualisations into one or two blobal dashboards.

Keen to know if this is something that will be feasible in the future.

RE: Multi Workspace Dashboard

Absolutely unacceptable to ask our CEO to go to 7 different workspaces to see all his KPIs or alternatively, asking everyone to double-post reports - a maintenance nightmare. I agree Shelley, this should be combined with https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/34244284-include-reports-dashboards-from-multiple-workspace.

RE: Multi Workspace Dashboard

This would be great to make it end-user friendly. With this functionality a kind of index table/view can be created where end users could navigate easily and quickly to get to the visual or report they need. We're getting a lot of "and how do we get there" kind of questions.
Creating 1 index overview linked to several workspaces would be a huge step forward

RE: Multi Workspace Dashboard

Our team is in charge of building and managing data others within the organization use. We build great Power BI reports for them and share so others have read-only access to them (for obvious reasons we don't want them to edit them).

We have a need for users with read-only access to pin visuals from our reports and create their own personal dashboards with access to visuals that pertain to their needs.

RE: Multi Workspace Dashboard

I've seen a few entries wanting the same thing. My CIO is not happy because I can't provide this.

HAVE to create one dashboard using reports that are published under different workspaces.

RE: Multi Workspace Dashboard

We have reports in multiple workspaces, similar to this: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/How-to-share-content-from-multiple-workspaces/td-p/333282 and need to create a summary app for managers similar to that explained in the link. It makes sense to have the separate workspaces, and it does not make sense to have to copy all the reports into one workspace and have to maintain duplicate copies of one report. Right now, given the 1:1 restriction on workspaces to apps, my teammates want me to move everything into one workspace. I'm very concerned about problems and confusion arising from having to move so many reports, some of which are shared with over 100 people. This will be time consuming and prone to errors to have to reshare all the reports with everyone. In addition, we will only be able to have one app for this entire workspace. So now we'll have to determine how to make this work for everyone who needs access to these reports. From what I've read, the content packs mentioned in the above link, are an "older" method. Is Microsoft working on a way to create an app or dashboard from multiple workspaces that will allow users to click into the reports stored in their respective workspaces? We're a large company with users around the globe, so it would help us a lot to be able to do this. Thanks!
