In a scenario where my reports are based of off a dataset connected to Azure Analysis Services I would like the ability to configure, perhaps per workspace, a secondary server instance to redirect Analyze in Excel traffic to.
So, when a user hits 'Analyze in Excel' in the portal, they are redirected to a different server (than the one reports in PowerBI are running on).
Our experience is that allowing Analyze in Excel often leads to long running queries that hamper the performance and lower the overall experience of regular users in PowerBI - We want to redirect that "heavy" traffic to a sandbox somewhere safe ;)

RE: Analyze In Excel redirect

Additional info:
I would of course provide the secondary AAS server as a separate resource. The idea is not for PowerBI to spin up a new server (however that would be cool).

The configuration should be specific to a dataset.
So, lets say I have a workspace with two datasets A and B, and only A will trigger the redirect
