I am introducing Power BI to our company and am the first one that gets adressed when our beginners run into issues.

A common issue is that users add two calculated columns to a given table, one to define a friendly name for some status code and another one to sort that names column in custom order. They usually get a "circular dependency error".

The root cause for this seems to be the fact that in Power BI Desktop, you can not set a row identifier for a table, whereas in Excel and SSAS Tabular that is possible.
Please add this functionality!

Yes! This would eliminate most cases of this very subtle error for me. It would make PowerBI WAY more user-friendly for newer users.
