Citrix:
We want to user Power BI Desktop in a Citrix XenApp Terminal Server Environment. In our Test we found a Problem with Power BI Desktop. The Cache of Power BI Desktop ist located in Appdata local on the local Systemdrive. This is a Major Problem because the System Drive is read only. Every Write Operation will be forwarded in a Citrix Cache. If this Cache overload the Citrix Server will hang up.
It should be possible to configure the Path to the Cache Location.

Global Administration of Application Options:
It is possible to configure two Options via Registry. In our Citrix Infrastrukture it is necessary to globaly administrate the basic Options for the Users. All Options of the application should be possible to administrate via global Registry Key.

Feedback Option:
When possible: Disabling Feedback Option for Users

User Settings:
The User Settings got saved in appdata local on the System Drive. Because it is read only in our Citrix Environment the Settings get lost after the User log of the Citrix Session. It should be possible to Change the path to appdata roaming.

How do larger organizations manage and keep up with constant updates of Power BI Desktop tool? Do you run around and install updates to local clients when there is an update to this tool. Because larger enterprises will have Power BI Users that are not local admins and this does not allow us to scale at this time with our user base on this product.

Why aren't you re-directing appdata via a GPO (or in PVS image) to a network user share?

FSLogix Profile Containers ( https://fslogix.com/products/profile-containers ) can solve this :-)

Using local profile storage is really a no go in an enterprise Environment.
How thougthless of the Power BI Desktop product development team!
