This is a very important idea for our organization, as we want to put some governance on our BI solution. Any update on this?

We need this to be implemented. Some data sets it is OK for a user to be able to change the reports/build their own. For others, where the data is more sensitive, and we don't want any misinterpretation, we need to be able to set the content pack as read-only.

I'm just waiting for my users to discover the "Edit" button on the report page.

Take it a step further. Give full permission control on content packs. Allow me to control whether recipients can edit the content AND let me control whether they can share the content pack. Until that's available, we'll have to keep manually sharing reports.

Please fix the Outlook Groups full edit access issue with Power BI. I see you can create an Outlook group from Power BI that is View only but, it doesn't seem to properly provision the Onedrive for business file storage. It does but, it can't access it. It says Sign up.
