    How about to add Carpet Chart to PowerBI?

    It can look this way:

    3-dimensional's chart showing for instance market shares by segments in a given time.
    Just what a business need. I haven't seen such thing in any BI app I know. Why not PowerBI be the first one?

    Mekko charts are rotated? Really? How did you make this rotated?

    Could you use two Mekko charts from the custom visualization library? They're rotated 90 degrees, but might work for now.
